Residence27 brings new luxury apartments to the heart of Brewerytown. Brewerytown has been coming a long way in recent years. The 31st Street corridor is experiencing massive new development, bringing more than 1,000 new units to that half mile stretch. Other parts of Brewerytown are seeing new development, east of 31st Street, which are mostly a mix of single family homes and multi-family apartment buildings. A new apartment building has just been built at the intersection of 27th and Master Streets, across the street from Athletic Square Park and the Brewerytown Community Garden. This new apartment building is called Residence27 and is being developed by Design Pro Development and Grit Construction. It has been designed by KCA Design and is managed by TCS Management.
Residence27 has seven luxury rental units, four of which are available for rent. The available apartment units include a three-bedroom, two and a half bathroom unit renting for $2,345 per month, and three two-bedroom, two-bathroom units renting for $1,995 per month. Each unit has quartz kitchen countertops, GE refrigerators; ranges and ovens; microwaves; dishwashers; and washers and dryers, West Elm lighting, hardwood flooring, NEST Thermostats, video intercoms, keyless entry, and free wifi. The bathrooms have Vigo faucets, Glacier Bay toilets, Delta shower heads, and quartz shower tiles. The building has a mini-conference room and a roof deck with incredible views of Center City, University City, North Philadelphia, and Fairmount Park. The exterior has black and white brick; in a unique pattern, wood paneling, and large windows.
Brewerytown will continue to develop as the remaining vacant properties are bought up by developers. Commercial districts on Girard Avenue and 31st Street will continue to, also, see new retail businesses open up. The Athletic Square recreation center will see new renovation soon, as well.
