The largest city in Pennsylvania and the sixth most populous in the country, Philadelphia is bursting with history and diversity.  From Independence Hall, built in the eighteenth century and the cradle of the American Revolution, to the Comcast Center, announced as the city’s tallest building in 2007, Philadelphia is as unique as its buildings.  Center City is home to offices and skyscrapers but is also comprised of a number of distinct neighborhoods, of which, Rittenhouse Square, Washington Square West, Society Hill, Old City, and the Graduate Hospital are some of the most exciting.
Apartments in Center City Philadelphia vary from condominiums to town homes, from large apartment buildings with gated garages and pools overlooking Rittenhouse to quaint Victorian-style row houses lining the Delaware River down in Society Hill.  The tree-lined streets of Wash West and Graduate Hospital are home to many Philadelphians young and old, many of which are associated with the University of Pennsylvania or Thomas Jefferson University as students or professors.
One of the most highly demanded areas of Philadelphia is where many of the city’s young professionals live – Old City and Society Hill, home to many historic landmarks, including the oldest continuously residential street in the country, Elfreth’s Alley.
On the other side of town and across the Schuylkill River, you’ll find 30th Street Station and University City.  University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University students abound along beautiful Chestnut and Walnut streets – another area in heavy demand.  When classes are in, University City is alive day and night and makes for an exciting destination.
Only minutes away are Boat Row and the Art Museum, another fantastic area of the city to live in; close to everything and relatively inexpensive.  For more information about making one of the many neighborhoods of Philadelphia your own, call 215-563-5880 today!
